This is Buji Vanilla. Grown on the shores of Lake Victoria, cured where it is harvested, built with farmers at the center.
Most vanilla on the market isn't real: natural vanilla beans versus synthetic vanillin made from petroleum or paper by-products.
Buji is different. Our name comes from Ignitius Bwoogi, a Ugandan farmer who founded a nonprofit to drive sustainable development in his community.
How our supply chain looks: Uganda farmers harvest and cure, Buji Vanilla packages in the U.S., and individuals and businesses all over the world enjoy it.

Meet the farmers · 21 farms on the shores of Lake Victoria

Every bottle starts with one of these farms.

We work with the Rural Agency for Sustainable Development to train and support organic vanilla farmers. Meet the 21 growers, see what each farm grows, and walk through it in 360°.
